“Uma escola para os atletas que tem formado campeões nacionais”, é assim que Mário Brandão, sócio do Grupo Desportivo e Coral de Fânzeres, que integra a Comissão Administrativa em funções, define o clube com 84 anos de história.
Poucos dias depois da tomada de posse, a Comissão composta por Moisés Rodrigues, Selénio Pinto e Mário Brandão, explicou ao Vivacidade as dificuldades que o Grupo Desportivo atravessa, após ter conseguido uma situação financeira estável, destruída pela má gestão da direção anterior, que apresentou a demissão em junho, por falta de condições.
Com vontade de mudar o rumo e apresentar medidas concretas para saldar as contas, a comissão destaca os painéis publicitários do Pavilhão Gimnodesportivo Municipal, com preços que vão desde os 50 aos 300 euros, por ano. Os membros da Comissão, contemplam também a hipótese de pela primeira vez, o clube poder vir a ter patrocínios nos equipamentos, que deverão rondar os mesmos valores do pavilhão.
“Queremos saldar todas as contas e limpar a imagem do clube”, afirma Selénio Pinto, ex-Presidente do Conselho Fiscal, que em 2011 alertou a direção para o aumento das despesas com água e luz. “Com o período de má gestão dos últimos dois anos, na próxima época vamos ter menos duas equipas [juniores e feminino sénior], mas esperamos recuperar esses escalões nas próximas épocas”, afirma Moisés Rodrigues.
O clube que em hóquei em patins já chegou a disputar jogos com o F. C. Porto, Valongo e Gulpilhares terá na próxima época o desafio de jogar na segunda divisão nacional, no escalão sénior masculino, uma competição disputada a Norte e Centro do país. No entanto, para competir será necessário inscrever os jogadores e para isso o clube precisa de dinheiro.
Para alcançar este objetivo, a Comissão Administrativa já avançou com algumas iniciativas como por exemplo, as vendas de garagem de produtos novos e seminovos, que se realizam às terças e quintas-feiras das 18h às 20h e aos fins de semana das 10h às 12h30, no pavilhão do clube, na Rua de São Tiago, em Fânzeres.
De acordo com Moisés Rodrigues, o clube está disponível para falar com todos os interessados em ajudar, que poderão contactar a Comissão, interessada em “aproximar as empresas da zona ao clube.
O ex-Presidente da Assembleia Geral garante que o projeto de formação do clube que já levou jogadores como André Azevedo e Viterbo à seleção nacional fica agora suspenso, sendo que o desejo é “retomar essa estratégia do clube o mais depressa possível”.
Ao nível da patinagem artística, o Grupo Coral e Desportivo de Fânzeres tem vindo a apostar nas camadas jovens e foi campeão distrital da modalidade, durante cinco anos.
