Desde o dia 2 de novembro que o teatro regressou a Gondomar. Está a decorrer o 14.º Festival de Teatro da Cidade de Rio Tinto, organizado pelo Grupo Dramático Beneficente de Rio Tinto, que se irá prolongar até ao último sábado de novembro com a estreia de uma nova revista à portuguesa, protagonizada pelo grupo residente.
O Festival de Teatro da Cidade de Rio Tinto é já uma tradição de novembro na freguesia. Durante cerca de um mês, o Grupo Dramático Beneficente de Rio Tinto (GDBART) anima as noites de sábado com peças de teatro de grupos convidados e com a peça final, a cargo do grupo de teatro residente.
Satisfeito com a duração do Festival, Alberto Mendes, presidente do Grupo Dramático, afirma que a iniciativa “já se tornou uma tradição” e confessa ter dificuldade em distinguir os atores amadores do Festival de Teatro dos atores profissionais. “Só não são profissionais porque não ganham dinheiro”, diz com entusiasmo.
A 14.ª edição do Festival tem como principal novidade a estreia de uma nova revista à portuguesa, no encerramento do Festival. Encenada por Francisco Nogueira e interpretada pelo GDBART, a revista “Mãos à Obra Porto” será o momento mais aguardado do festival, no dia 30 de novembro.
“O 14.º irá superar o 13.º Festival. Só não temos mais pessoas a visitar-nos porque não podemos alargar a sala, mas o sucesso está garantido”, afirma Francisco Nogueira. “Os grupos que aqui vêm são grupos de referência. Temos conseguido manter a qualidade do Festival graças a uma grande equipa responsável pela organização”, refere.
Apesar da 14.ª edição ser realizada apenas na sala de espetáculos do Dramático, Francisco Nogueira admite que numa próxima edição não está colocada de parte a hipótese de voltar a ter três palcos em simultâneo.
Nos dias 23 de novembro e 30 de novembro sobem ao palco o Grupo Dramático e Recreativo da Retorta e o Grupo Dramático Beneficente de Rio Tinto, respetivamente. Os espetáculos têm início às 21h45 e a entrada do público é gratuita.
