Foi aprovado, a 14 de maio, em reunião pública da Câmara Municipal de Gondomar, o regulamento da primeira edição do Orçamento Participativo do Município, que estipula uma verba de 200 mil euros para financiar projetos mais votados pelos cidadãos na área das obras públicas.
A decisão corresponde ao compromisso assumido e definido pela autarquia de “melhorar a qualidade da democracia, pugnando pela transparência da gestão, apelando e potenciando a participação de toda a comunidade na construção de um Concelho com maior esclarecimento e participação”, lê-se na proposta aprovada com uma abstenção do vereador da CDU. O Orçamento Participativo de Gondomar abrange a área das obras públicas, nomeadamente, a construção de arruamento público, conservação/manutenção de arruamento público existente, construção de parque infantil, conservação/manutenção de parque infantil existente no concelho.
Também ontem foi aprovada, por unanimidade, a organização e dinamização de atividades pedagógicas, de animação socioeducativa e de componente de apoio à família e a ocupação dos alunos do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. O projeto “Escola em Férias + criativa”, que decorrerá nas semanas de 16 a 27 de junho, aponta para a realização de várias atividades, com ou sem almoço. Ainda na educação foi aprovado o parecer prévio para a contratação de refeições escolares para o ano letivo de 2014/2015.
Destaque, ainda, para a aprovação, também por unanimidade, do serviço de assistência técnica para o controlo das águas balneares de Zebreiros e Melres, em cumprimento do programa de vigilância sanitária das águas balneares, cujo objetivo é iniciar o processo de designação de Praia para os respetivos areais.
No período de informações foi revelado que o plano em curso de racionalização de custos com arrendamentos de edifícios permitirá, a partir de outubro, uma redução anual de despesa de 130 mil euros.
