No total foram vendidos 2500 litros de cerveja para cerca de 20 mil pessoas que visitaram a oitava edição da Festa da Cerveja de Rio Tinto. O espaço da antiga feira acolheu também a XIII Feira de Artesanato da cidade e vários grupos musicais durante os cinco dias de festa.
Organizado pela Junta de Freguesia de Rio Tinto e pela empresa Event Services, a Festa da Cerveja de Rio Tinto recebeu uma vez mais milhares de pessoas. Nuno Fonseca, presidente da Junta de Rio Tinto, faz um balanço positivo da iniciativa. “Acho que uma vez mais ficou provado que este é um evento que deve ser realizado e é sem dúvida o maior, à exceção das festas religiosas, que decorrem em Gondomar”, diz ao Vivacidade. “É importante referir que não falamos apenas da Festa da Cerveja, mas também da XIII edição da Feira de Artesanato de Rio Tinto que se realizam há alguns anos em conjunto, como forma de maximizar visitantes e minimizar custos”, afirma o autarca.
Durante cinco dias, passaram pelo palco principal vários grupos musicais. No dia 6, Gondomar Band animou a inauguração do certame. Union Salsea foi a aposta para o dia seguinte com centenas de pessoas a assistir ao espetáculo. No sábado, dia 8, foi a vez de MC Marcus atuar perante cerca de 7 mil pessoas, após o concerto do grupo Os Amigos da Onça. Nelo Silva e Fabuka foram os protagonistas do dia 9 e o encerramento da festa ficou a cargo do grupo Prata Latina.
“A Festa da Cerveja foi um sucesso. Vendemos cerca de 2500 litros de cerveja e no próximo ano será para repetir”, refere José Rocha, um dos organizadores da iniciativa.
Nuno Fonseca concorda e espera que, em 2015, o antigo espaço da antiga feira de Rio Tinto receba nova edição da Festa da Cerveja. “A cada ano e a cada dia do evento, o número de visitas aumenta. Conforme se viu tentamos melhorar mas infelizmente estamos sempre limitados no investimento por questões financeiras e este ano tivemos o cuidado de criar um portal de entrada que obrigou os visitantes a passar em frente à Feira de Artesanato, o que maximizou imenso esta realização”, conclui o presidente da Junta de Freguesia de Rio Tinto.
