A 4 de outubro, Gondomar recebeu o “Baguim Fashion” no Centro Paroquial e Social de Baguim do Monte. No dia em que a freguesia celebrava o seu vigésimo nono aniversário, dezenas de modelos desfilaram durante a tarde, para satisfação do público presente.
Joaquim Fernando Silva, membro da organização e da Junta de Freguesia de Baguim do Monte explicou ao Vivacidade como surgiu a ideia de realizar este evento. “Foi um grupo de pessoas que estava a falar de moda e resolveram fazer um pequeno desfile. O desfile acabou por ganhar uma dimensão própria e terminou neste evento”, referiu.
Este “pequeno grande evento” começou no início da tarde e consistiu em três grandes momentos: o desfile de Moda Júnior, o desfile do Concurso de Designers e o desfile do Concurso de Beleza. Com estes apelativos, o público aderiu em massa. Joaquim Fernando Silva acredita que o “Baguim Fashion” é um projeto com futuro. “Ultrapassou todas as expectativas e tornou-se num gigante”, explicou.
O evento também mostrou ser solidário, já que apresentou atividades como uma venda de rifas para ajudar a causa de Maria do Céu, jovem de 17 anos que ficou com 99% de incapacidade após um cirurgia que previa 99% de sucesso.
Segundo a organização, os objetivos do “Baguim Fashion” prenderam-se pela divulgação de marcas gondomarenses e de modelos. “É uma área em que podemos apostar para criar novas oportunidades. Tanto a área da criação como a área da divulgação de marcas da roupa que existem no concelho podiam estar mais divulgadas”, indicou o organizador.
No final do dia, foram atribuídos vários prémios aos vencedores. O Concurso de Designers teve 12 participantes e o tema foi a vindima. O júri premiou os concorrentes consoante a originalidade, relação com o tema e utilidade do produto. Os premiados foram: Clara, a mais jovem concorrente com apenas 12 anos que recebeu o prémio de melhor roupa, António Taveira que venceu na categoria de melhor acessório, Ana Silva que recebeu o prémio de melhor joia, Carla Resende com uma menção honrosa e, por fim, Pedro Xavier que venceu na melhor criação.
Por último, o Desfile do Concurso de Beleza contou com 30 concorrentes, dos dois sexos, vestidos por lojas gondomarenses. A prova teve seis vencedores: Paulo Oliveira e Daniela Gandra venceram o prémio de “Mr” e “Mrs Simpatia”. Hélder Sousa e Sofia Azevedo receberam o “Mr” e “Mrs Baguim do Monte” e Filipe Pinto e Camila Ribeiro levaram para casa o prémio “Mr” e “Mrs Baguim Fashion”.
O sucesso deste evento levou a organização a pensar mais alto. O “Baguim Fashion” tem todas as condições para se expandir para um “Gondomar Fashion”.
