Joaquim Manuel Pinto Serra venceu pela terceira vez o Prémio Nacional de Poesia da Vila de Fânzeres. No dia 29 de novembro, o escritor aproveitou a cerimónia de entrega de prémios para lançar o livro “rosas amarelas para a nossa ausência”, na Casa de Montezelo.
Joaquim Serra, algarvio, médico psiquiatra de profissão e escritor de poesia nos tempos livres foi o vencedor da 23ª edição do Prémio Nacional de Poesia da Vila de Fânzeres, que contou com 24 obras a concurso. A atribuição de prémios e menções honrosas realizou-se na Casa de Montezelo, em Fânzeres, num ambiente eclético pautado pela música do Quarteto Vintage e declamações de Cidália Santos.
Em discurso, o vencedor considerou a iniciativa da União de Freguesias de Fânzeres e S. Pedro da Cova “um oásis no enorme deserto de apoio à cultura em Portugal”, numa cerimónia em que lançou a sua mais recente publicação: “rosas amarelas para a nossa ausência”. O livro publicado pela editora ‘Lugar da Palavra’ reúne poemas do escritor e conta com um prefácio da autoria de Daniel Vieira, presidente da UF de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova.
Joaquim Serra já tinha sido galardoado em duas edições anteriores com as obras “As mãos e o silêncio” (1998) e “Viagem através do nosso distanciamento” (2012).

“Não existe quase nenhum grande acontecimento que não tenha associado a si um grande poema. A poesia retrata tudo o que é humano e o Prémio Nacional de Poesia de Fânzeres procura dar um contributo para a afirmação desse género literário”, disse Daniel Vieira durante a cerimónia.
Carlos Brás, vereador da Câmara de Gondomar, e Aurélio Mesquita, representante da editora ‘Lugar da Palavra’, também marcaram presença na entrega de prémios, juntamente com dezenas de pessoas que assistiram ao evento.
