Churrasqueira de Baguim vence Concurso Gastronómico ‘Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho’ de Baguim do Monte

Churrasqueira de Baguim arrecadou o 1.º prémio

As Festas a São Brás encerraram a 6 de fevereiro com a atribuição dos prémios do 16.º Concurso Gastronómico ‘Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho’ de Baguim do Monte. A Churrasqueira de Baguim foi o restaurante vencedor do prémio combinado.

Após a já habitual ‘prova cega’ na tenda da Confraria Gastronómica dos Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho de Baguim do Monte, no dia 3 de fevereiro, o júri elegeu os melhores pratos das duas categorias em competição no 16.º Concurso Gastronómico ‘Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho’ de Baguim do Monte.
Na entrega de prémios, a 6 de fevereiro, realizada no salão nobre da Junta de Freguesia de Baguim do Monte, a Churrasqueira de Baguim levou para casa o prémio combinado das duas categorias – uma oferta da Artame Industriais Metalúrgicas e da Câmara de Gondomar –, conquistou o 1.º prémio nas Papas de Sarrabulho e 2.º lugar nos Rojões. O Café Restaurante Art’ Rocha foi o 1.º classificado.
A cerimónia contou com a presença de Paulo Araújo, presidente da Cooperativa Cultural “Arco do Bojo”, José Fernando Moreira, vereador da Câmara de Gondomar, Nuno Coelho, presidente da Junta de Baguim do Monte, Nuno Fonseca, presidente da Junta de Rio Tinto, e Manuel Maques Almeida, da Confraria Sagrado Coração de Maria e São Brás.
O grupo musical ‘100 Sentidos’ animou a entrega de prémios com um espetáculo musical que encantou o auditório.
O chef riotintense Vítor Santos, que incorporou o júri, teceu algumas críticas aos pratos apresentados pelos restaurantes e deixou sugestões para a próxima edição do Concurso Gastronómico. “Queremos uniformizar a receita dos rojões e das papas à moda de Baguim e vamos elaborar uma lista técnica para equilibrar o concurso”, disse o chef.

Entronização dos confrades

Confraria Gastronómica entronizou 10 novos confrades

No dia 1 de fevereiro realizou-se a cerimónia de entronização dos 10 novos confrades da Confraria Gastronómica ‘Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho’ de Baguim do Monte, na Igreja Matriz da freguesia. José Fernando Moreira, vereador do Ambiente da Câmara de Gondomar, Jaime Martins, diretor geral da empresa Águas de Gondomar e Manuel Pizarro, vereador da Câmara Municipal do Porto, entre outras personalidades, foram entronizados.
