A Metro do Porto vai desenvolver uma vez mais um serviço especial durante a noite de 23 para 24 de junho. O metro vai assim funcionar ininterruptamente durante a noite de São João e a linha F (Gondomar) não é exceção .
A Linha Laranja (F) terá até às 2h da manhã uma frequência de 10 minutos e de 30 minutos até às 6h.
Este ano, para além do serviço especial durante a noite de 23 para 24, a grande novidade é a operação especial nos “Concertos na Avenida”, de 19 a 22 de Junho. O aumento das frequências e o reforço do número de veículos vêm reforçar a mobilidade dos utentes ao longo dos festejos de todas as noites de animação na cidade, com epicentro na Avenida dos Aliados. Com a circulação automóvel proibida ou muito condicionada em grande parte do centro da cidade, o Metro garante que “a única preocupação dos cidadãos vão ser as marteladas típicas de São João.”
Na noite de S. João, o reforço da circulação das várias linhas começa às 20h do dia 23 de Junho e só termina às 6h do dia 24.
Frequência das restantes linhas:
Linha Amarela (D) – frequência de 6 minutos até às 2h e de 10 minutos das 2h às 6h, passando após esta hora a oferecer a circulação habitual de um dia de feriado.
Linha Azul (A) – frequência de 10 minutos até às 2h e de 15 em 15 minutos até à manhã do dia seguinte.
Linha Vermelha (B) – frequência de 20 minutos até às 3h e de 30 minutos até às 6h.
Linha Verde (C) – com destino à estação Fórum da Maia, frequência de 10 minutos até à 1h. Na mesma linha mas com destino à estação ISMAI, frequência de 20 minutos até às 2h e de 30 minutos até às 6h.
Linha Violeta (E) – não sofrerá qualquer tipo de alteração, estando em funcionamento até pouco depois da 1h, como é habitual.
O Funicular dos Guindais estará em funcionamento durante toda a noite e madrugada de São João.
Quanto aos “Concertos na Avenida”, promovidos pela Câmara do Porto na Avenida dos Aliados, o Metro assegura um reforço da capacidade em toda a rede e o prolongamento da operação até cerca das 2h, assegurando que, após os concertos, todos poderão regressar a casa de Metro.
