A Junta de Freguesia de Baguim do Monte tem estado a acompanhar de perto uma família recentemente desalojada após um incêndio que destruiu por completo o espaço onde habitavam quatro pessoas.
“Foi um autêntico desastre. Uma família ficou desalojada e nós queríamos alojá-la imediatamente porque a proprietária, uma senhora idosa, com quatro filhos, todos adultos, teve que ir para casa de uma irmã mas ao fim de dois dias tiveram que sair”, começa por explicar Nuno Coelho, presidente da Junta de Baguim do Monte.
“Começamos imediatamente um movimento para a reconstrução da casa porque estas pessoas precisam de um teto e têm que comer”, admite Nuno Coelho.
A família tem merecido a atenção da delegação gondomarense da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa que tem garantido um apoio alimentar diário.
Ao Vivacidade, o autarca explica o “momento difícil” vivido após o alerta telefónico. A situação foi entretanto resolvida com o realojamento temporário – três a quatro meses – da família, graças a uma apólice do seguro.
Findo este período temporário, a família poderá voltar a ficar desalojada caso não seja encontrada uma solução.
