A Escola Básica 2,3 de Rio Tinto ficou em 2.º lugar na iniciativa Geração Depositrão da ERP Portugal, após recolher cerca de 2100 quilos. No total, foram recolhidos 23.500 quilos de resíduos para reciclagem.
A Escola EB 2,3 de Rio Tinto está no ‘top 5’ do ranking do distrito do Porto relativo ao peso total de resíduos recolhidos, com base nos resultados finais da iniciativa de sensibilização ambiental Geração Depositrão da ERP Portugal.
A instituição riotintenses recolheu cerca de 2100 quilos e ficou em 2.º lugar. A Escola Básica de Lousada Centro foi a instituição com mais resíduos reciclados, mais de 2500 quilos. A completar o ‘top 5’ seguem-se a EB 2,3 de Sande (2000 quilos), a Escola Básica do Castro (1600 quilos), na Trofa, e, em 5.º lugar, EB 1 de S. Martinho do Campo (1300 quilos), de Santo Tirso.
“Os resultados desta edição foram excelentes. As escolas mostraram novamente que são peças fundamentais na formação dos cidadãos incutindo hábitos e comportamentos corretos, nomeadamente no que toca à gestão de resíduos, pois o seu encaminhamento adequado é fulcral para assegurar o tratamento e reciclagem”, conclui Filipa Moita, responsável de Comunicação e Sensibilização da ERP Portugal.
Entre as 82 Eco-Escolas do Porto que participaram na iniciativa foram recolhidos mais de 23.500 quilos de REEE (Resíduos de Pilhas e Acumuladore) e RP&A (Resíduos de Pilhas e Acumuladores), devidamente encaminhados para reciclagem.
