A Universidade Sénior de Gondomar realizou, a 23 de outubro, a cerimónia de abertura oficial do ano letivo 2015/2016. A iniciativa realizou-se nas instalações da instituição.
Professores e alunos marcaram presença na abertura de mais um ano letivo na Universidade Sénior de Gondomar (USG). A tarde de festa contou com as atuações do Grupo Tons e Sons, da Orquestra de Acordeão e da Tuna da USG e protagonizou um momento de convívio que assinalou o início de um novo ano “académico” na USG, distinguida pela RUTIS como “uma universidade de excelência pelo trabalho e resultados obtidos no desempenho e serviços prestados aos seniores.
José António Macedo, presidente da União das Freguesias de Gondomar (S. Cosme), Valbom e Jovim, aproveitou a ocasião para agradecer ao Município o apoio de 2500 euros cedido à instituição, verba que “será utilizada para melhorar as condições do auditório da USG, bem como para a aquisição de alguns equipamentos”, sublinhou o autarca.
Também presente na cerimónia, Aurora Vieira, vereadora da Educação da Câmara de Gondomar, destacou o trabalho desenvolvido “em prol da comunidade” e considerou a USG “pioneira no ensino que proporciona aos seniores”.
Eunice Neves, diretora do CINDOR, também esteve presente na iniciativa. Recorde-se que neste ano letivo a USG inaugura a disciplina História da Filigrana nas instalações do CINDOR.
