O Centro Cultural de Rio Tinto recebeu, a 12 de dezembro, o I Encontro de Jovens Investigadores em Ciências Sociais de Gondomar. A iniciativa organizada por Rui Pais e Filipe Correia promete regressar no próximo ano.
Rui Pais, mestre em História Contemporânea pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto (FLUP), e Filipe Correia, licenciado em Arqueologia pela FLUP, uniram-se para organizar o I Encontro de Jovens Investigadores em Ciências Sociais de Gondomar, no Centro Cultural de Rio Tinto.
A iniciativa teve como oradores os membros da organização, Débora Fernandes, mestranda em Museologia, pela FLUP, Miguel Brandão, mestre em História e Património pela FLUP, e Micaela Santos, licenciada em História de Arte e mestranda em Museologia pela FLUP.
O painel abordou diversos trabalhos de investigação com um fator em comum: Gondomar.
“A nossa preocupação foi que as pessoas fossem jovens de Gondomar ou que tivessem um trabalho de investigação sobre o concelho”, explica Rui Pais.
Ao Vivacidade, o historiador destaca a “qualidade dos palestrantes” e a “troca de conhecimentos proporcionada pela iniciativa”. “Esse era um dos objetivos, criar energias para que os jovens investigadores de Gondomar tivessem um palco para expor os seus trabalhos e que demonstrassem a qualidade dos mesmos”, afirma o investigador.
O Encontro de Investigadores promete regressar em 2016 “com visitas ao património histórico e cultural do concelho”.
