O Orfeão de Rio Tinto celebrou no dia 17 de janeiro o 23.º aniversário da coletividade. Ao Vivacidade, Maria Alice Dias, presidente da direção, realça o “esforço realizado pela cultura e associativismo” de Rio Tinto.
O auditório do Centro Cultural de Rio Tinto Amália Rodrigues foi palco da cerimónia de comemoração do 23.º aniversário do Orfeão de Rio Tinto. Durante a manhã os associados da coletividade prestaram homenagem aos compatriotas falecidos com uma romagem ao cemitério e uma missa celebrada na cripta da Igreja Matriz de Rio Tinto. Durante a tarde realizou-se a festa e momento de convívio que contou com a participação de todas as vertentes do Orfeão: classes de piano, violino e guitarra, coral juvenil e adulto e ainda o grupo “Os Lamirés”.
Ao nosso jornal, Maria Alice Dias, presidente da direção do Orfeão, recordou o ano de 2015 como um dos mais intensos na história da coletividade. “O ano passado foi um dos mais intensos para nós e 2016 promete continuar a ser”, afirmou a responsável.
Segundo Maria Alice Dias, o Orfeão de Rio Tinto trouxe a Rio Tinto um “esforço realizado pela cultura e associativismo que promete continuar”.
No aniversário marcaram presença a Câmara Municipal de Gondomar, representada pela vereadora Sandra Almeida, e a Junta de Freguesia de Rio Tinto, representada pelo presidente Nuno Fonseca.
