O presidente da Junta de Baguim do Monte, Nuno Coelho, tem o desejo de criar uma Academia das Coletividades no antigo edifício da Escola EB 1 de Baguim do Monte. O autarca espera uma cedência da Câmara Municipal de Gondomar.
O pedido feito na última reunião pública do Município – que decorreu na Junta de Baguim do Monte – consiste na cedência em regime de comodato da escola EB 1 de Baguim do Monte, situada na Rua de Tomás Barbosa Leão.
A ideia do autarca é albergar naquele espaço “coletividades locais que não têm sede social”. “O objetivo do projeto é dar oportunidade destas coletividades terem um espaço físico onde possam ter reuniões, guardar troféus, arquivos e materiais, além de criarmos no edifício espaços multifuncionais”, explica Nuno Coelho ao Vivacidade.
Entre as coletividades que podem mudar-se para a EB 1 de Baguim do Monte estão a associação Muralhas de Esperança, a associação Caravela, a Confraria Gastronómica dos Rojões e Papas de Sarrabulho de Baguim do Monte, o Grupo Música Tradicional Portuguesa Arco do Bojo e o Grupo Coral de Baguim do Monte.
“Num espaço anexo ao edifício deverá ficar o auditório com capacidade para cerca de 100 pessoas e a Junta compromete-se a colocar lá uma pessoa a gerir e zelar o espaço. Além disso, queremos tentar ter uma sala para a Formação (Con)junta, que no fundo é como se fosse a nossa universidade sénior, que existe desde 2005”, conclui o autarca.
Marco Martins, presidente da Câmara de Gondomar, prometeu “avaliar o pedido”.
