Pedro Ferreira, atleta gondomarense do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, completou os 10 quilómetros da São Silvestre de Gondomar em 31 minutos e 51 segundos, marca que garantiu ao atleta a vitória na primeira edição da prova realizada a 19 de dezembro.
O 1.º prémio da São Silvestre de Gondomar ficou em casa. O galardão foi para Pedro Ferreira, atleta natural de Gondomar que pertence ao Sport Lisboa e Benfica, sempre seguido de perto por Ismael Queirós, do SL Benfica, e Bruno Silva, da Associação Recreativa Luz e Vida Gondomarense.
Na pódio por equipas, a Associação Luz e Vida Gondomarense teve a melhor prestação dos 10 quilómetros, seguida pela DouroConta Trail Team, em segundo lugar, e a Nascidos para Correr – Associação Desportiva, em terceiro lugar.
Ao nosso jornal, Carlos Ferreira, organizador da prova, faz um balanço positivo da primeira edição da corrida noturna no concelho. “A prova foi muito positiva para nós. O que os participantes mais elogiaram foi o percurso, que não é assim tão duro como poderia parecer”, afirma o responsável da EventSport.
Segundo o organizador, Gondomar tem “excelentes condições para a prática desportiva”, característica que permitiu aos cerca de 850 atletas correr e caminhar “com alegria e satisfação”.
Quanto à 2ª edição, já garantida, Carlos Ferreira projeta uma alteração da data da prova que terá o tiro de partida às 18h. “Queremos que a próxima edição seja a verdadeira com a realização da prova no dia 31 de dezembro”, refere o mentor da prova.
Já sobre a possibilidade de haver prémios monetários, o responsável não confirma a hipótese que considera estar “dependente do investimento na prova”. “Não premiamos os participantes monetariamente mas atribuímos individualmente medalhas a todos os inscritos e não descriminamos nenhuma categoria ou género de participante”, recorda, contudo, Carlos Ferreira.
D’Ouro Run regressa a Gondomar no dia 26 de junho
A 3ª Meia-Maratona D’Ouro Run Gondomar regressa no dia 26 de junho. A prova, uma organização conjunta da EventSport e do Município de Gondomar, volta a percorrer a estrada marginal do concelho, entre Valbom e Crestuma. “É com satisfação que registo que abrimos as inscrições a 20 de dezembro e o número de inscritos, a seis meses do evento, é galopante”, refere Carlos Ferreira, organizador da prova. As inscrições para a 3ª D’Ouro Run encerram quando a organização tiver três mil inscritos.
