Francisco Couto, campeão norte em benjamins A, Filipa Moreira, campeã do norte em benjamins A, Beatriz Pereira, campeã regional e vice-campeã do norte em infantis, Henrique Neves, campeão regional e do norte em iniciados, a equipa feminina de infantis, campeã regional e do norte e a equipa masculina de iniciados, campeã regional, deram, em janeiro, seis novos títulos à Associação Luz e Vida Gondomarense, resultado da participação no Campeonato Regional de Corta-Mato, em Paredes, e no Campeonato do Norte de Corta-Mato, em Felgueiras.
Para David Fernandes, treinador e presidente da Associação Recreativa Luz e Vida Gondomarense, os sucessos representam “mais um marco histórico para a associação”.
“Há muito anos que não se conseguiam conquistar tantos títulos e pódios. Temos feito um excelente trabalho. No ano passado só tínhamos alcançado um pódio e, este ano, conseguimos treze, sendo sete deles o lugar mais alto. Só isso reflete o nosso trabalho, o empenho dos atletas e a excelente atitude dos pais. Não nos podemos esquecer que a pista que agora temos em Valbom tem sido uma mais-valia no planeamento e gestão do nosso treino e, por isso, temos de deixar uma palavra de agradecimento à Câmara Municipal de Gondomar por esta aposta”, refere o responsável pela associação de atletismo.
