A 4ª edição do “É preciso ter lata” angariou um total de 29 toneladas de alimentos, alcançando mais três toneladas do que no ano anterior.
Numa causa contra a fome, a iniciativa “É Preciso ter lata”, obteve 117.655 latas de conserva, num total de 43 esculturas, 350 participantes, 50 voluntários e 2000 visitantes, conseguindo dar apoio a 91 instituições de solidariedade e projetos comunitários.
Este ano, Gondomar recebeu, nos dias 29 e 30 de março, a 4ª edição do concurso, que trouxe 37 escolas de todo o país. No dia 1 de abril, o Multiusos de Gondomar abriu as portas ao público para a exposição. O concurso premiou sete agrupamentos nos seguintes critérios: Favorita do júri: Agrupamento de Escolas D. Pedro I (Canidelo); Favorita do público: Agrupamento de Escolas Júlio Dinis (Gondomar); Melhor estrutura: Agrupamento de Escolas Leonardo Coimbra Filho (Porto); Melhor uso de rótulos: Escola Secundária de São Pedro da Cova; Escultura com mais lata(s): Agrupamento de Escolas Gonçalo Mendes da Maia (Maia); Menção honrosa: Agrupamento de Escolas de Eiriz (Paços de Ferreira) e Melhor refeição: Agrupamento de Escolas Sá de Miranda (Braga).
Segundo Dénis Conceição, presidente da Associação “É Preciso ter Lata! – Canstruction Portugal”, a edição presente em Gondomar foi histórica. “Nunca estivemos num espaço tão bom como este e não vemos outro melhor do que este. Além disso, tivemos um excelente acompanhamento da autarquia que mostrou grande capacidade de resolver problemas. Temos uma série de escolas de Gondomar que responderam ao nosso desafio. Estamos num momento feliz do nosso projeto. Fomos muito bem recebidos”, afirmou o organizador.
Apesar da vontade de manter o espírito itinerante do projeto, Dénis Conceição acabou por afirmar que não podem dizer que não a um regresso a Gondomar.
