Marco Martins, presidente da Câmara Municipal de Gondomar, e Fernando Duarte, presidente da direção da Associação Vai Avante, assinaram a 2 de julho um protocolo que permite à instituição construir um parque infantil no Vinhal, em São Cosme.
A tradicional Festa dos Finalistas da Associação Recreativa Cultural e Bem Fazer Vai Avante contou este ano com o anúncio da cedência de um terreno de domínio público na zona do Vinhal que vai permitir à instituição de solidariedade social iniciar a construção de um parque infantil.
“A cedência deste terreno para a construção do parque infantil é um projeto que temos no Vinhal. Insere-se numa candidatura que fizemos que permitiu construir um equipamento pré-escolar e uma creche. Na altura em que fizemos a candidatura houve o compromisso da Câmara de Gondomar de construir um parque infantil. Mais tarde, verificou-se um problema com a tomada de posse do terreno que resultava de uma cedência do proprietário e foi necessário legalizá-lo para que fosse do domínio público”, explica Fernando Duarte, que só agora viu o processo ser concluído.
O anúncio da cedência do terreno foi feito por Marco Martins, presidente da Câmara de Gondomar, que incentivou já a instituição a iniciar a construção da infraestrutura de lazer. Ao Vivacidade o autarca recordou o processo.
“O problema arrastava-se há nove anos e a segurança social exigia a construção de um parque infantil ao Vai Avante. Existia um espaço de domínio público que a Câmara decidiu ceder à associação para que esta cumprisse esse propósito com o objetivo de servir também a comunidade envolvente. Esperamos que a obra comece rapidamente e estamos disponíveis para apoiar”, afirmou o edil gondomarense.
“O Parque Infantil irá dar resposta à creche, ao pré-escolar e aos moradores da zona do Vinhal”
Ao nosso jornal, Fernando Duarte revela o projeto que tem pensado para a construção do parque infantil. O objetivo será criar um espaço que sirva a creche e o estabelecimento pré-escolar do Vinhal, bem como a comunidade envolvente.
“Será um serviço que irá dar resposta à creche, ao pré-escolar e aos moradores da zona do Vinhal. Vamos reunir com a União de Freguesias de Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim e com uma comissão de moradores locais para decidirmos os últimos pormenores e tentarmos encontrar alguém que fique responsável por gerir o parque, que irá cumprir todas as normas exigidas pela Segurança Social”, refere o presidente da Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social.
Nos planos está também o alargamento do horário da creche e do estabelecimento pré-escolar para “dar resposta aos pais em horário pós-laboral”.
De acordo com o dirigente associativo a construção do parque infantil deverá ficar concluída até outubro.
