Em Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova cerca de 40 jovens participam nas Oficinas de Verão promovidas de forma gratuita pela União de Freguesias.
Iniciaram no dia 4 de julho as Oficinas de Verão, uma iniciativa dinamizada pela União de Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova, que visa ocupar de uma forma didática o período de pausa letiva das crianças dos 6 aos 12 anos. No total, estão inscritas nas Oficinas de Verão 2016 cerca de 40 crianças, divididas em dois grupos, um situado na Biblioteca de Fânzeres e outro no Museu Mineiro de São Pedro da Cova. As Oficinas de Verão terminam a 29 de julho, tendo já realizado saídas à Casa do Infante, Parque da Cidade, Parque Biológico de Gaia e Museu dos Transportes e Telecomunicações. Todas as atividades e saídas promovidas pelas Oficinas de Verão são gratuitas.
Ao Vivacidade, Joana Cardoso, do executivo da União de Freguesias, destaca a crescente adesão das crianças e dos pais às Oficinas de Verão. “Nos últimos anos temos vindo a registar uma maior adesão da parte das crianças e dos pais. Nas próximas oficinas – de Natal – temos que ponderar a hipótese de aumentar o número de vagas”, esclareceu a autarca.
Em São Pedro da Cova trabalha-se “A Vida fora da Mina”
Em São Pedro da Cova, as Oficinas de Verão realizam-se há sete anos, sempre ligadas a um tema. Este ano as crianças exploraram “A Vida fora da Mina” de uma forma divertida com direito à exploração da exposição permanente do espaço museológico, uma visita ao campo de futebol da Associação Desportiva de São Pedro da Cova, a construção de música em concertina, peças de teatro e um percurso pedestre pelo património mineiro.
“Curiosamente este ano todos os meninos que participam nas atividades têm um antepassado que trabalhou nas minas. Vamos procurar mostrar-lhes as fotografias dos seus familiares para que percebam as tarefas que tinham no antigo complexo mineiro”, explica Micaela Santos, coordenadora das Oficinas de São Pedro da Cova.
Ao Vivacidade, a responsável pelo Museu Mineiro, mostra-se satisfeita pela adesão dos pais e das crianças às atividades.
“Temos crianças de diferentes faixas etárias e os mais velhos acabam por acompanhar-nos na monitorização dos meninos mais novos. Tentamos passar-lhes essa responsabilidade”, refere a coordenadora.
Biblioteca de Fânzeres trabalha contos tradicionais
Em Fânzeres, as crianças trabalharam este ano os contos tradicionais através da criação de objetos e jogos com aproveitamento de materiais e recriação poética das histórias. Objetivo? Sensibilizar as crianças para a reciclagem, reaproveitamento de materiais e gosto pela poesia e pelos livros.
“Este ano estamos a trabalhar e a reler os contos tradicionais e tentamos criar objetos e jogos que relembrem esses contos, tudo através de materiais reciclados. As nossas oficinas têm sempre como base o reaproveitamento dos materiais com ligação aos livros, sejam contos, obras de poesia ou outras histórias”, explica La Salete Magalhães ao nosso jornal.
A coordenadora das Oficinas de Verão de Fânzeres destaca também a continuidade da presença das crianças dos 6 aos 12 anos. “Temos casos de meninos e meninas que começaram a participar aos 6 anos e que cumprem agora o último ano, porque já atingiram a idade limite para as Oficinas de Verão”, concluiu a responsável.
