As Festas do Concelho de Gondomar foram palco, no dia 23 de setembro, do lançamento de um projeto-piloto, resultado de uma parceria Lipor e Câmara Municipal de Gondomar.
A Lipor e a Câmara de Gondomar iniciaram no dia 23 de setembro um projeto-piloto que visa a transformação da causa ambiental numa causa social. Assim, os intervenientes na Romaria do Rosário são convidados a separar as embalagens de plástico e metal em contentores devidamente identificados para o efeito, ato que reverte num “apoio relevante às corporações de bombeiros voluntários de Gondomar”, informa a Lipor em comunicado.
Desta forma, por cada cinco quilogramas de embalagens de plástico e metal separados, entre 23 de setembro e 9 de outubro, está a ser garantida uma contribuição de um euro para as corporações de bombeiros do concelho.
“Esta ação quer promover a consciência cívica da população para a necessidade de separação dos resíduos e, em simultâneo, associar esta atitude a algo com um valor acrescentado que possa contribuir para uma causa social que o Município considera relevante”, descreve a nota enviada à imprensa.
O projeto-piloto foi apresentado por Marco Martins, presidente da Câmara de Gondomar, e José Fernando Moreira, vereador do Ambiente, e deverá, depois, ser também implementado nos restantes municípios associados da Lipor.
