As marionetas estão prestes a regressar a Gondomar. Entre os dias 6 e 8 de julho, vários locais do concelho de Gondomar vão receber espetáculos de títeres. As iniciativas inserem-se na programação do Encontro Internacional de Marionetas.
A programação do 4.º Encontro Internacional (EI) de Marionetas foi apresentada no dia 8 de junho, no Auditório Municipal de Gondomar, após o espetáculo “Madrugada Trás-os-Sonhos”. A iniciativa organizada pela companhia Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora vai “invadir” as ruas, escolas, auditórios e a biblioteca do concelho.
“Vamos ter 30 espetáculos protagonizados por mais de 15 companhias e das mais variadas formas. Tentamos segmentar o EI em três partes, com vários ‘workshops’ a decorrer em paralelo. Além disso, vamos ter connosco o Jordi Bertrán, um especialista no domínio desta arte”, começou por dizer Filipa Mesquita, da Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora.
O evento é apoiado pela Câmara Municipal de Gondomar, que, de acordo com Luís Filipe Araújo, vereador da Cultura deste Município, espera “mais um importante momento cultural, com espetáculos de grande qualidade, incluindo a presença de artistas nacionais e internacionais de reconhecido mérito”.
“Este evento traz até nós [Gondomar] o teatro de marionetas interpretado pelos melhores. Em cada uma das edições é proporcionada a oportunidade de contacto com diferentes interpretações e variantes do teatro de marionetas, com apresentações dirigidas a todos os públicos e, claro, com uma atenção especial dirigida aos mais novos”, acrescenta Luís Filipe Araújo.
Este ano, a organização ainda não sabe se poderá contar com o apoio financeiro da Direção-Geral das Artes, condição que “obrigou a reestruturar a iniciativa de moda a cumprir os limites orçamentais”, mas a programação do evento promete não defraudar o público dos 8 aos 80.
