A Casa Branca de Gramido recebeu, no dia 22 de fevereiro, cerca de 30 artesãs da filigrana gondomarense, naquele que foi o pontapé de saída para uma homenagem por parte da Câmara Municipal a estas mulheres, indispensáveis ao processo de fabrico da filigrana.
A iniciativa visou recolher as opiniões destas artesãs, para uma posterior homenagem e valorização das denominadas enchedeiras, a quem cabe a minuciosa tarefa de preenchimento das molduras.
Recorde-se que a defesa da produção artesanal, praticada em oficinas de pequena escala, de cariz familiar, utilizando técnicas passadas de uma geração à próxima, levou já à criação, uma parceria entre os municípios de Gondomar e da Póvoa de Lanhoso, da “Filigrana de Portugal”, certificando e distinguindo a produção manual de filigrana, bem como da Rota da Filigrana, que dá conhecer e valorizar os ourives genuínos de Gondomar, através de roteiros que contemplam a visita às fábricas e oficinas, preservando e dinamizando esta arte.
