O deputado socialista Fernando Jesus deslocou-se ao território da União das Freguesias de Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim para conhecer os diferentes projetos liderados pela Junta de Freguesia presidida por António Braz.
A visita teve lugar a 9 de abril e passou pelos edifícios da Junta de Freguesia, Universidade Sénior de Gondomar (USG), Casa Abrigo, entre outros polos de Valbom e Jovim.
“Estou extremamente emocionado porque não tinha a noção exata do verdadeiro trabalho que aqui é desenvolvido com várias valências, como o facto da Universidade ter cerca de 400 alunos e 150 professores, com uma atividade regular e constante. Já está marcada uma visita deles à Assembleia da República e eu vou ter muito gosto de os receber lá”, afirmou Fernando Jesus, em entrevista ao nosso jornal.
Por sua vez, António Braz, responsável pela presidência desta União das Freguesias, também se mostrou satisfeito com a visita do deputado. Ao Vivacidade, o autarca admitiu que “procura estabelecer contacto com todos os eleitos, quer do PS quer de outros partidos, de maneira a levar até eles os problemas deste território e, de preferência, ao Parlamento”.
“Esta visita serve para nos ajudar a desbloquear algumas situações e sensibilizar o deputado Fernando Jesus para os problemas da União de Freguesias e da USG como, por exemplo, o pedido de apoio ao Ministério dos Assuntos Sociais, que poderá ser canalizado individualmente para as Universidades Séniores”.
