A Associação do Porto de Paralisia Cerebral (APPC) está a reforçar a aposta na formação dos seus clientes, com vista a garantir um maior nível de conhecimentos teóricos e práticos, além de aumentar as possibilidades de inserção no mercado profissional.
A APPC tem-se dedicado, nos últimos anos, a formar clientes e cuidadores formais nas suas instalações. A medida começou por ser implementada graças à acreditação, em maio de 2013, como entidade formadora e visa gerar um contínuo de melhoria das ações de formação e de todo o processo formativo. Seis anos depois, a aposta continua a desenvolver-se e começa a apresentar resultados ao nível da empregabilidade dos formandos.
“Esta medida, além de nos permitir melhorar as competências de execução dos nossos colaboradores permite-nos, também, partilhar práticas junto de outros profissionais, nomeadamente professores, auxiliares e profissionais de outras organizações similares. Quanto à formação dos nossos clientes, mantemos o foco no aumento das suas competências profissionais de forma a melhorar e aumentar a possibilidade de empregabilidade dos mesmos”, refere Marlene Fonseca, da APPC.
Na “Villa Urbana”, em Valbom, têm lugar algumas formações, como por exemplo, o curso de assistente administrativo, o curso de assistente familiar, entre outras formações.
Todos os anos, a APPC conta com 30 novos formandos nos cursos de formação inicial, 10 formandos nos cursos de formação contínua a par dos colaboradores da APPC, que têm direito a “pelo menos” uma ação de formação por semana.
“Relativamente à formação para pessoas com deficiência pretendemos investir na qualificação de 12.º ano, pelo que atualmente as ações de formação para este público, com recurso a referenciais adaptados dão equivalência apenas ao 9.º ano. As áreas das novas tecnologias serão, também, uma área de educação e formação a ter em conta em próximas candidaturas”, conclui Marlene Fonseca.
