Aos 17 anos, Beatriz Mota sagrou-se Miss Gondomar 2019, no dia 12 de maio, na Sala D’Ouro do Pavilhão Multiusos. A jovem sucede a Teresa Fidalgo e vai representar o concelho na final nacional, a 27 de julho, na Casa Branca de Gramido.
Sendo natural de Fânzeres, qual a sensação de vencer o concurso Miss Gondomar 2019?
Vencer um concurso deste calibre era um sonho para mim, e sabendo que o consegui estando na minha “terra natal” ainda torna esta experiência mais especial. É um orgulho enorme ter sido escolhida para representar o nosso concelhonum concurso tão prestigiado como o Miss Portuguesa.
Este título garante também o acesso direto à final da Miss Portuguesa, cujo evento irá realizar-se em julho, na Casa Branca de Gramido. O sonho seria vencer em Gondomar, mais uma vez?
Sim, neste momento o sonho seria voltar a vencer, e tendo em conta que a final se vai realizar na Casa Branca de Gramido, mais maravilhosa a vitória se tornaria. Agora espera-me um longo percurso de trabalho e dedicação para mais uma vez tornar o sonho realidade.
O que te motivou a candidatares-te a este concurso?
Desde pequenina que o mundo da moda me fascinou. Lembro-me de ver desfiles na televisão, por os sapatos de salto alto da minha mãe, e tentar copiar o que as modelos faziam. Longe de mim pensar que conseguiria um dia ganhar o Miss Portuguesa Gondomar 2019. Outro motivo pelo qual eu me candidatei foi pelo concurso ser feito no local onde cresci e, por isso, se ganhasse iria representá-lo perante Portugal. Espero conseguir chegar longe com esta.
Fala-nos um pouco sobre ti. Quais são os teus hobbies, o que gostas de fazer, entre outras coisas…
Sempre gostei muito de dança. Aos três anos comecei a ter aulas entrando para o ballet aos sete. Mais tarde, comecei a praticar lírico e também contemporâneo. Fiz vários exames de ballet e também fui a competições em Portugal e Espanha. Há pouco tempo tive interesse em experimentar teatro musical e estou a gostar bastante. Outra das minhas paixões é viajar. Já tive a oportunidade de conhecer lugares como Praga, Viena e Paris. Algo que gostava de começar a fazer é voluntariado. Espero um dia ter a oportunidade de ir em missão para Africa.
Os concursos de beleza e desfiles de moda são uma novidade para ti?
Tal como já referi, eu sempre gostei muito de ver desfiles de moda e concursos de beleza e agora com a ajuda das redes sociais é mais fácil acompanhar todas as novidades, no entanto, nunca participei em nenhum desfile nem nenhum concurso. Na Miss Gondomar 2019 foi a primeira vez que contactei com o mundo dos concursos de beleza.
Representar Gondomar no caminho para a final da Miss Portuguesa é também uma responsabilidade acrescida. Que imagem esperas passar do teu concelho?
Quando o concurso Miss Portuguesa chegar espero transmitir garra, determinação, humildade e principalmente muito trabalho, qualidades estas que refletem tudo aquilo que o nosso concelho é, e que eu vou dar o máximo para representar.
