O casal Norberto Calaia e Paula Branco, ambos com 44 anos, vão inaugurar em breve um novo espaço de alojamento local, sita na Rua da Aldeia de São Miguel, bem perto do Multiusos de Gondomar. O Vivacidade foi conhecer esta nova estalagem.
“Um sonho tornado realidade”. É desta forma que o casal Norberto Calaia e Paula Branco definem a criação do espaço “Goldnature”, um novo espaço de alojamento local que irá abrir portas, em breve, na Rua da Aldeia de São Miguel. A ideia surgiu há cerca de 10 anos, “mas só agora foi possível de concretizar”, começa por dizer Paula Branco.
“Estamos juntos há muito tempo e gostamos muito de viajar pelo mundo, por isso decidimos criar o nosso aqui, em Gondomar. Sempre gostamos da natureza e surgiu-nos a ideia de trazer a aldeia à cidade, com um atendimento especial e personalizado”, afirma a proprietário do espaço.
O “Goldnature” terá ao dispor dos seus clientes oito quartos, um deles duplex, estando dois preparados para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, um salão de pequenos-almoços, entre outras atividades. Há também uma horta biológica e um pomar.
“Não queremos ver este negócio como a nossa atividade principal, preferimos encarar este ‘hobbie’ como uma maneira de contactar com as pessoas. Temos também a ideia de desenvolver vários eventos neste espaço, entre apresentações de livros, provas de vinho, criação de um espaço lounge, eventos ‘sunset’, entre outras iniciativas”, acrescenta Norberto Calaia.
Todos os quartos estão decorados com vários elementos ligados à natureza e contam com várias fotografias, do Norte a Sul de Portugal, da autoria do gondomarense Paulo Ferreira, documentarista premiado internacionalmente.
O espaço, situado na Rua de São Miguel, data de 1258, de acordo com documentos do Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo, e foi totalmente restaurado e requalificado por este casal. O investimento foi suportado na íntegra pelos proprietários, sem qualquer tipo de apoios.
“Acreditamos que este projeto vai favorecer Gondomar, que precisa, cada vez mais, deste tipo de oferta hoteleira e turística. Estamos a tratar dos pormenores finais e em breve queremos abrir as portas ao público. Já nos sentimos gondomarenses e acreditamos que são as pessoas que caracterizam os lugares”, conclui Norberto Calaia.
O “Goldnature” deverá ser inaugurado ainda neste verão.
