A Universidade Sénior de Gondomar (USG) convidou a Academia Sénior de Tábua, a Universidade Sénior Dom Sancho I de Almada, a APO Sénior – Universidade Sénior de Coimbra e a Universidade Sénior de Ermesinde para a 5ª Gala de Danças Regionais.
A iniciativa teve lugar a 16 de maio, na Sala D’Ouro do Multiusos de Gondomar, e contou com o apoio à organização da Rede de Universidades Seniores (RUTIS).
“Trouxemos um espetáculo de danças regionais, graças ao nosso grupo da USG, que tem ensaios e atuações regulares durante todo o ano. Pedimos também ao Grupo Etnográfico de Valbom que nos desse uma ajuda na decoração do espaço”, afirmou António Braz, presidente da União das Freguesias de Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim.
A tarde ficou, assim, marcada pelas várias demonstrações de diferentes tipos de tradições, dizeres e danças regionais de Portugal Continental.
A iniciativa contou ainda com o apoio da Câmara Municipal de Gondomar.
