Dando continuidade ao projeto ERASMUS+ “Young Historians of Europe”, aprovado para o biénio 2018/2020, a Escola Secundária de Rio Tinto, entre 20 e 24 de maio, foi a instituição anfitriã de mais uma atividade de intercâmbio entre as escolas envolvidas.
Durante uma semana, estiveram diretamente envolvidos nas atividades 20 alunos e 12 professores representando a Turquia, Grécia, Itália, Espanha e Malta, acompanhados por 25 professores e alunos portugueses. As atividades focaram-se na sensibilização para a importância do património local e mundial reconhecido pela UNESCO, através de workshops e visitas históricas a locais de importância reconhecida, tais como os centros históricos Porto e de Guimarães.
Como é habitual neste tipo de iniciativas intereuropeias, os participantes tiveram a oportunidade de partilhar experiências e vivências multiculturais no âmbito do projeto e aprofundar conhecimentos linguísticos, assim como desenvolver a dimensão europeia e o conhecimento de tradições e costumes dos países intervenientes, num processo de intenso enriquecimento cultural.
Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and
screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
