Ao longo dos anos, os tapetes florais têm sido presença assídua nas ruas de Fânzeres durante as Festas aos seus Santos. Este ano não foi exceção e dezenas de pessoas contribuíram para a dinamização da arte ao fazer na íntegra os tapetes nas Festas em Honra a Santa Bárbara, São Tiago e do Divino Salvador.
A preparação dos tapetes florais de Fânzeres é uma tradição que já existe ainda antes dos anos 30 e, apesar de hoje em dia os materiais utilizados não serem os mesmos, nomeadamente no uso de menos flores, a verdade é que ainda hoje embelezam as principais artérias de Fânzeres nas festas em homenagem aos seus santos.
De forma a tentar perceber melhor o funcionamento e a organização da confeção dos tapetes florais, estivemos à conversa com Maria José, secretária do executivo da União de Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova, que nos elucidou acerca da tradição. “Os tapetes são feitos durante a noite, normalmente a partir da meia hora e trabalha-se até à hora em que se acabar. Há anos em que se corre melhor e acabava-se por volta das 5h, há alturas em que se corre pior, também pela complexidade dos moldes. Há anos em que os moldes são mais complexos e festas em que os moldes são mais trabalhosos e demoraram mais tempo”.
No caso do Divino Salvador, a preparação dos tapetes decorreu durante a madrugada de domingo, mas Maria José relembrou que este “é um trabalho que vem de trás”. “É um trabalho que se inicia com a recolha do serrim, depois a preparação dos moldes porque as senhoras tentam sempre inovar e melhorar os moldes de ano para ano. Depois vem a pintura do serrim, às vezes são precisos dois fins de semana”.
Antes de cada festa, a Junta da União de Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova apela à participação e ao esforço da sua população para a colaboração na tradição e, normalmente, estão envolvidos vários grupos de pessoas. “Nas três festas principais, normalmente há três, quatro pessoas mais dinamizadoras e este ano tentou-se que houvesse uma única pessoa que tentasse coordenar as coisas no sentido de os tapetes serem mais uniformes, trabalharmos mais a organização e produziu algum efeito. Elas quando vão no sábado à noite, antes dos trabalhos começarem, já têm definido cada molde e as cores que vão ser trabalhadas por molde. Normalmente formam grupos de três a quatro pessoas que são responsáveis por um molde e tentam orientá-los no sentido de pintarem de acordo com o que é pedido”, elucidou a autarca.
Perante alguma dificuldade em motivar as pessoas para manter a tradição, a Junta de Freguesia tem tentado apelar à participação das camadas mais jovens através de oficinas de verão para as crianças no período de paragem da escola, sendo que “as pessoas mais dinamizadoras estiveram com as crianças e explicaram o processo e fizeram com elas os tapetes”, revelou Maria José.
Pedro Vieira, presidente da Junta da União de Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova, falou de “uma luta diária” por parte da Junta em manter estas tradições, mas mostrou-se otimista. “Estamos a falar da zona central de Fânzeres que é uma zona mais envelhecida, que é normal, e portanto as coisas para se manterem terão de entrar, naturalmente, pessoas novas e este ano notei a presença de jovens que estão também motivados para que estas tradições se mantenham e isso para nó é extremamente positivo”.
O autarca adiantou que é o papel da Junta criar as condições necessárias para a realização dos tapetes e o seu objetivo é preservar as atividades relacionadas com a identidade da freguesia de Fânzeres. “É mais uma tradição aqui da freguesia de Fânzeres, como tudo na vida tem altos e baixos, mas nos últimos anos tem crescido em termos de participação e de beleza dos tapetes construídos pela população e portanto, isso é sinónimo de vitalidade que estes tapetes têm para a freguesia e é também um sinonimo de identidade aqui para esta terra”, finalizou.
